Test Kitchen Pop Up Events
Our first ever Kitchen Pop Up event will take place on January 19th, 2017. Talented home cooks or food entrepreneurs can use our commercial kitchen, be covered under our liability insurance, and prepare samples alongside a Minnesota Certified Food Manager before testing their products on their (and others') tasting panels. The February date is tentatively set for Saturday, February 11th in the morning and afternoon.
Rules & Regulations:
- Participants are responsible for bringing tasters who are willing to also offer feedback to other businesses that night to maximize the number of people who can give them valuable information about their products. Tasters will be required to sign a liability waiver. Space is limited to 20 participants for each hour timeslot, divided fairly between participants.
- Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver and will agree to not use products made that night for retail or direct sales.
- Kitchen On The Bluff will provide access to all shared kitchen equipment, dishes, cutlery and glassware.
Timeline For January Participants:
2:30pm - 3:00pm Mandatory Orientation and Food Safety Quick Overview
3:00 - 4:00pm Prep & Cooking Begins
4:00pm First Taster Panels Allowed (20 people maximum per 60 minute slot)
8:00pm Final Cooking/Prep Time. Last Taster Panels Allowed for final 30 minute tastings (20 people maximum)
8:30pm Clean Up Begins
Space is limited to six groups of 2 or 3 people.
